A Bit About Me
I specialize in working with children ages 3–10 who are carrying big feelings they don’t yet have words for — kids who are struggling with anxiety, trauma, big behavioral changes, or just feeling like they can never quite get it right at home or school. I also walk closely alongside their parents and caregivers, because I know that when a child is hurting, the whole family feels it.
Many of the families I work with come to me exhausted. Parents have tried everything they can think of, and nothing seems to be working. Their child is often in trouble at school, melting down at home, or shutting down entirely — and parents are left feeling confused, overwhelmed, and quietly worried about what the future holds. Children, for their part, often arrive feeling defeated, misunderstood, and like they just can’t get things right no matter how hard they try.
My approach is rooted in child-led play therapy — because play is the language of childhood. In our work together, I create a space where children feel genuinely safe to be themselves, free from judgment, and free to process their experiences in a way that actually makes sense for their developing minds and nervous systems. I’m currently working toward my Registered Play Therapist credential and draw from sandtray therapy, trauma-informed approaches, and parent-child therapy to tailor care to each child’s unique needs.
What sets my work apart is the 20 years I spent as a school social worker before becoming a therapist. That background gives me a deep understanding of what children face in educational settings — and allows me to bridge home, school, and therapy in ways that many clinicians can’t. I speak the language of IEPs, behavioral supports, and school teams, and I use that knowledge to advocate for and support your child across every environment they live in.
At the heart of everything I do is relationship. I believe lasting change happens when children feel truly known, and when parents feel genuinely supported — not judged. My hope is that when families leave our work together, they feel more connected to each other, more confident, and more equipped to face whatever comes next.

My training and supervision has included Child-Led Play Therapy, Somatic Experiential Play Therapy, Adlerian Play Therapy, Sandtray Play Therapy, and Trauma Play Therapy. I am passionate about deepening my skills and excited to continue learning new approaches to support children and families in meaningful, developmentally attuned ways.
I primarily work with children ages 3–10 and their families, supporting them through play-based approaches that foster emotional growth, deeper connection, and lasting healing.
