A Bit About Me
With over 20 years of experience supporting children and families, Michelle brings a compassionate, strengths-based approach to her work as a child and family therapist.

Drawing from her extensive background as a school social worker, Michelle has a deep understanding of the emotional, developmental, and relational challenges that children face — both at home and in educational settings.

Michelle is currently working toward her LICSW and a certification as a Registered Play Therapist, with a focus on child-centered play therapy. She believes strongly in the healing power of play and the importance of creating a safe, supportive space where children can express themselves freely, process their experiences, and build emotional resilience.

Michelle specializes in helping children navigate emotional struggles, attachment difficulties, trauma, and developmental needs. She is equally passionate about supporting parents, involving them as active participants in the therapeutic process, and empowering them with tools to strengthen the parent-child relationship.
Grounded in empathy, guided by evidence-based practices, and fueled by her belief in each child’s unique strengths, Michelle is committed to helping children and their families thrive.
